The Mills Brothers were certainly the sweetest swinging vocal ensemble of their time, and still do not get enough recognition as pioneers of jazz, doo wop, R&B, and even as rock & roll precursors. This 22-track collection, though not comprehensive by any stretch, is a fun set that emphasizes their friendly, ebullient nature towards an audience that stretched out to the general public in the '30s, '40s and '50s.
